"Tempered" Pole Piece Spacing for Stratocaster Replacement

| One of the major problems with pickups has been pole piece
spacings that didn't line up well with the strings. To solve the problem,
Bill completed a series of calculations to determine a set of three
spacings that would be vitually universal for the
widest variety of guitars. The result is "The
Bill Lawrence Tempered Pole Piece Spacing"
-- a replacement
set that can accomodate most guitars at a maximum .020" off center.
This is less than half the diameter of the low E string, virtually undetectable.
